Fitted Wardrobes with Bridge Unit

Fitted Wardrobe with BridgeThis fitted wardrobe installation in Kent shows two (bespoke) fitted double wardrobes on either side of the bed-space providing plenty of “his and hers” hanging space.

In this installation the customer chose to use their own headboard but we can equally provide a bespoke headboard to match your installation.

Full use is made of the space by running a custom built bridge wall unit across the space at ceiling height. This type of installation is ideal where storage space is tight and provides roomy storage where space is normally wasted.

Just think of all the bedding you could get in these cupboards!!

This installation is in an Oak effect finish although we offer a number of different colours and styles to help you plan your dream bedroom.

Bespoke Chest of Drawers

Bespoke Chest of Drawers - Oak EffectThis installation was completed with a matching bespoke chest of drawers.

We can build bespoke fitted bedroom furniture in any configuration to fit your room or your plans.

Dressing tables, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, ottmans or any other size or shape of fitted bedroom furniture that you care to imagine!

Kitchen Renovation - Before

In this kitchen renovation, the basic layout was changed very little as the customer was happy with it although appliances were moved to make better use of services.

The very small, outdated kitchen wall cabinets were replaced with modern kitchen wall cupboards that were full height providing much more storage.

The kitchen base cabinets were replaced with modern new cabinets and we replaced the kitchen cabinet doors with a much lighter coloured effect to bring light into the room.

The walls and floor were tiled in a light, clean looking colour and a dark marble effect worktop and all new appliances completed the look.

I’m sure you will agree that the finished effect is dramatically different and I am sure that the customer is still enjoying the complete transformation that took place!

Teenager’s Fitted Bedroom Furniture

Teenager's Fitted Bedroom FurnitureTeenagers spend an awful lot of time in their bedrooms so making sure that you make the most of the space available to them and giving them something that makes their space special is really important.

Often a teenager has a smaller bedroom and so making the most of the space is especially tricky unless you opt for bespoke fitted bedroom furniture that enables you to design the space around the inevitable computer, laptop, tv and homework!

It is not difficult to provide them with a stylish and practical bedroom if you consider using bespoke fitted bedroom furniture and involve them in the design process.

This fitted bedroom furniture is actually in my teenage niece’s bedroom and shows the same run of wall from two directions.

Her room is quite long and narrow but the fitted wardrobe units were built to exact measurements so that there was still room for a sleepover with a pull out bed.

There is space for her computer and a knee space making the top both a dressing table and a workspace although I suspect there might be more putting on of make up than work going on! :)

We use vinyl wrapped surfaces which are durable and particularly good in this type of setting as they are easy to clean so the inevitable coffee rings are easier to wipe off!!

We love you Shannon!

Sliding Wardrobe Doors

Sliding Wardrobe Doors KentSliding wardrobe doors have come on a long way since the old fashioned doors of the 70s and 80s. What’s more, they are a brilliant way to provide floor to ceiling storage without taking up too much room.

In this installation there was plenty of room between the bed and the wardrobe however, where space is tight, sliding wardrobe doors provide the ideal solution as there are no doors that need to open out into the room.

With the sliding door wardrobes that we use, we are able to match the colour to your colour scheme as well as provide mirrored wardrobe doors.

I particularly love the way way our sliding wardrobe door system is so flexible.

In this example you can see we have provided short hanging, long hanging and shelves on a 3 door wardrobe run.

All our installations are custom built and can span a complete wall if you choose. We can also provide any combination of storage arrangement including modern wire baskets or more traditional drawers. The choice is yours entirely.

In this installation the customer had a matching smaller sliding door wardrobe on another wall. You could even use this system as the door to an en-suite or similar.

Maple Built in Wardrobes

Maple built in wardrobesThese built in wardrobes are a beautiful maple effect with stunning bow handles.

A run of five wardrobes runs flush from the edge of a recessed wall almost to the window.

A small drawer unit next to the window allows maximum use of the space without the window being obstructed.

As wardrobes are built floor to ceiling they make the most of all available space and provide ample hanging and storage space.

Just imagine, no more boxes stuck on top of wardrobes gathering dust!!

Walnut Made to Measure Wardrobes

Walnut made to measure wardrobes Maidstone, Medway, KentThis made to measure wardrobe is in a Classic Walnut finish.

It was designed as a built in wardrobe which fits a space between two walls and is a very sophisticated look.

Our made to measure wardrobes provide considerably more storage space than a free-standing wardrobe.

Storage space is designed to go right up to the ceiling avoiding the need to fit unsightly boxes and bags on top of wardrobes that don’t quite do the job.

Most companies design fitted bedrooms around standard sized doors but because our doors can also be made to measure to your exact specifications, we can offer you more flexibility where needed.

We use a front framed construction  for made to measure wardrobes . This means that we build the frame on site, scribing each piece to fit your room and wasting no space.

Made to measure wardrobe interiorOur built in wardrobes have a base or floor as standard. Most customers don’t require their wardrobes to have built in sides or a backing panel.

This means that when you open the doors you see the back and side walls which most customers will just paint.

Once clothes are filling the wardrobe you won’t even see them.

However, should you require, walls can be “lined”  although this adds to the time taken for your installation and the overall cost.

This example is a very simple layout with a long hanging rail, shelf above and shelves to the right. You can have whatever combination of hanging, drawers, shelving or baskets that you wish.

Beech Wall to Wall Fitted Wardrobe

Beech wall to wall wardrobeThis Beech Wall to Wall fitted wardrobe was installed during major renovation works at a property in Croydon.

The beauty of made to measure wardrobes is that you can make the most of all available space. In this case, fitted wardrobes were designed to go across the span between two walls.

We use a frame-construction wardrobe which has advantages over carcase built systems in that there are no restrictions to the built in wardrobe depth or height. Unlike  standard, free-standing, wardrobes which have set depth, made to measure wardrobes using the frame construction can be as shallow or deep as required.

The “frame” of the built in wardrobe is constructed “on-site” and we scribe to the adjacent walls and the ceiling ensuring a perfect fit.  A built in wardrobe like this can normally be installed in a long day.

As this can be quite a messy job we normally advise customers to decorate and have carpet fitted after the installation to prevent any damage to your newly decorated and carpeted room.

Bespoke Fitted Loft Furniture

Bespoke fitted loft furnitureBespoke fitted loft furniture is the only way to make the most of a loft conversion.

Whilst loft conversions are a fantastic way of extending your house, it is notoriously hard to find furniture to make the most of your fantastic new room.

With sloping ceilings and angled walls, finding any standard furniture to fit whilst looking remotely sophisticated is tricky.

We often get called in once a conversion is almost complete and the customer realises there is nowhere to put any furniture!

This bespoke fitted loft furniture made maximum use of eave space with the drawers extending back beyond the surface. Standard drawer units would have extended out much further eating into valuable floor space.

The desk/dressing table was designed to fit so that it came out far enough in to the room to sit without hitting your head on the sloping ceiling.

All our fitted loft furniture is designed to make best use of your loft space and is built specially for you. We work with non-standard door and unit sizes to give your design maximum flexibility and meaning that almost anything is possible.

We are based in Maidstone, Kent but work throughout Kent, Medway and the South of England so if finding bespoke furniture to suit your loft conversion is giving you a headache, give us a call.

Bespoke Fitted Bathroom Furniture

Bespoke Fitted Bathroom furnitureBespoke fitted bathroom furniture or bathroom units really come into their own with small bathrooms or downstairs cloakrooms where space is at a premium.

These bespoke  fitted bathroom units were made specifically to make best use of the space in this downstairs cloakroom. Because we can tailor make units to your exact specifications, you are not restricted to standard bathroom unit sizes (or colours) which means that we can incorporate those really special touches.

Additional storage space was achieved in a tiny space with the use of a floor to ceiling bathroom cupboard without compromising on the overall look.

We particularly love the sink in this cloakroom – it is actually one long continuous piece meaning that there is effectively a ceramic worktop with no join for a really sophisticated look.

MDF wardrobe doors for painting

Most of our fitted wardrobes are made with high quality vinyl wrapped mdf, however, occasionally a customer wants something that little bit different.

This customer wanted to paint the wardrobe doors herself and so we made the doors purely from MDF. This is a perfect solution if you are particularly artistic and want something totally unique…

My only regret is that I didn’t return to see what the final product looked like! I’m sure with her artistic talents the doors look beautiful!
